The project is set to go before the City Council for a vote on August 8, 2024, under a 100-year ground lease agreement with the city of Pensacola.

The Dawson Company, a second-generation development firm based in Pensacola, is known for its landmark mixed-use developments in cities like Atlanta, Cincinnati, and Baltimore. They have assembled a world-renowned design and engineering team for this project, including Gensler, the largest architectural design firm globally, and Kravitz Design, led by music and style icon Lenny Kravitz. The design will incorporate mass timber, with Thornton Tomasetti, a leader in mass timber design, contributing their expertise.
